Lyrics
Angels full of love and light,
Come down around this house tonight.
As we sleep and as we dream,
Please hold us in your golden gleam.
Angels full of love and light,
Come down into our hearts tonight,
As we dream and as we sleep,
Please hold us in your love complete.
Angels full of love and light,
Come down around this house tonight.
As we sleep and as we dream,
Please hold us in your golden gleam.
Hush-a-bye, Hush-a-bye,
Hush-a-bye, Hush-a-bye.
Angels full of love and light,
Come down into our hearts tonight,
As we dream and as we sleep,
Please hold us in your love complete.
Hush-a-bye, Hush-a-bye.

History & Background
History & Origin
A Night Time Blessing is an original composition created for the Nursery Rhymes Collections, designed specifically as a quiet, comforting close to the day.
Bedtime blessings have a long tradition across many cultures — from Irish lullabies that invoke the protection of angels, to Welsh cradle songs that call on the night sky to watch over sleeping children. This song draws on that same impulse: the desire of a parent to surround a child with warmth, safety and love as the world goes quiet.
Unlike many traditional nursery rhymes, which carry centuries of history, A Night Time Blessing was written with one simple purpose — to make bedtime feel like a gentle ritual rather than an ending. Performed with the warmth and care that characterises all the recordings in this collection, it is a song designed to be sung softly, again and again, until little eyes close.
